It's really funny when you try something on in a store just for fun and you end up buying it because it looked surprisingly good on you. This was what happened to me a few months back when I visited an Oxygen store in Trinoma. I had my sights set on a varsity-inspired piece that looked an awful lot like any other raglan out there except it had those iconic double stripes on the sleeves.
Anyways, I saw this black pullover and I was immediately drawn to the neck detail. It was just something I haven't seen before that I just had to try it on to see how it would look! To my surprise it looked really flattering and rather unexpected! It's a wonder how this itty bitty detail could alter the vibe of a piece of clothing and give it this totally new feel! My brother commented that it looked like something off of the Star Trek costume rack because it looked so futuristic! Haha!
Swag pose. LOL. Welcoming this photo for the sake of breaking the uniformity of my poses. Haha!
Close up of the top. Maybe I'll try it with a button down next time. :D
Adding to the futuristic vibe with my G-Shock. It's been my go-to lately because it's just so convenient to use aside from being a cool accessory!
Black leather to anchor it all down. I felt almost like a character out of an RPG in this outfit. Where do the weapons go? LOL very Final Fantasy XIII - Hope Estheim. (That is, if he suddenly turned evil.)
Oxygen top, Giordano shorts, ALDO boots, G-Shock watch. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)
What do you think? :)
