Soldier

Indulge my bad title for a sec, because I really couldn’t think of any better way to describe today’s outfit post. LOL

It’s pretty rare that I take a more rugged approach to my outfits. I daresay, even almost a rarity as I’ve always found more refined style to be my safe zone, but for now, I made an exception because I thought of reviving a piece that I almost never get to wear: cargo pants!

Mind you, they’re not just any regular loose-fitting cargo pants. Uniqlo’s take on it involved retaining the traditional rugged appearance of cargo pants, but it has the slim fit and the similar fabric of Chinos! Awesomebeans! :)

Kept my watch military-inspired, which makes me now consider getting an olive green one for future use. LOL In other unrelated news, the bracelet I’m wearing here is from a Child Life advocacy called Kythe. They hold numerous enrichment activities for kids afflicted with cancer, and for every bracelet that you purchase, one is given to a child; like a friendship bracelet of sorts. It’s far from giving them the cure but I love the thought that they’re never alone in their fight against these terrible illnesses. :D

Unfortunately though, I’m not sure if the bracelets are still available for purchase because the event ended early August. Anywho, you can check the Kythe website to see how you can help! :)

Back to the outfit, I’ve noticed that all of the things I’m wearing here look particularly serious, which makes me think about more fall/winter elements which I think we all know I can’t get enough of.

Subtly matched the laces of my shoes to my plain shirt! Little detail, guys, little details. Haha!

Topman shirt, Uniqlo cargo pants, ALDO shoes, Tomato Time watch, Kythe bracelet, SM Accessories bracelet. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)

What do you guys think? :D
