Carnival

Piling on a colorful outfit is definitely a sure-fire way to let the world know you’re just brimming with smiles and positivity. The colors actually somehow force your mind to into thinking happy thoughts, making your mood a-okay the entire day! Outfits can be infectious too, you know! LOL

Anyways, in this outfit post, I decided to try my hand at the wonder that is colorblocking. It’s basically combining contrasting colors in an outfit. The challenge being: not overdoing it and looking like one big colorful mess!

Raglan shirt from Robinsons Department Store, Pants from Oxygen, Shoes from Tretorn.

I wore this to our school fair which was about 2 months ago, but sadly never got to take a picture of it because of the rush, which is why I decided to wear the entire thing again that day. Oh the things I’ll do for this hobby of mine! Hahahaha

An arm party of three to add to the fun vibe! Ballers are always welcome in my book. They make an outfit a lot more youthful with its awesome statements and cool colors. The black one says, “Can I Slytherin?” (If you got this, you got a dirty mind! LOL) and the red one says, “Dream.” Unusual combination, I know, but isn’t spontaneity a part of being young? More excuses from me. LOL

These slimming candy-colored pants from Oxygen are fast becoming a favorite of mine. I love how the blue is out of my usual spectrum, but at the same time, it doesn’t go overboard. Baby steps to improving my capacity for color, I guess?

Lastly, the shoes from Tretorn which I now fervently believe is a God-send! Attending the fair meant standing the entire time you’re there, and I barely felt anything in these amazing kicks! Lightweight, stylish, and jaw-droppingly comfy! I’m just so freaking glad I finally got my hands on a pair of Tretorns!
